The cause of freedom once again
Is calling from the Heights
to save the precious heritage
of hard won human rights.

O hear us, Almighty God,
and keep us free!

This is our land, and this our sea,
We came to breathe its air;
Upon our lips we have one plea,
And in our hearts one prayer:

Should terror darken every thought
And govern every deed,
What value should be left in life
When tyrants only lead?

O hear us, Almighty God,
and keep us free!

We heard the last deep roll of drums;
Their echo still survives,
So does the toll of bells for those
Who gave for us their lives.

Almighty God! while we are free,
How should we give our thanks to Thee?

On guard by day and night,
We'll pledge our faith in right,
And stand for ever strong
Against all human wrong.

We praise Thee for helping us!
We praise Thee for saving us!
For saving our land of justice, freedom and hope!
Our land shall stand forever for truth and right!
for freedom truth and right.
