The Morawetz Sonata, played by Langevin and Berta Grinhauz, had plenty of forward drive and underlined the dramatic qualities of the work and its excellent use of the instruments. Morawetz, one of the most prolific Canadian composers, was in attendance and seemed delighted with the performance.
