The new work by Oskar Morawetz is an extremely well-crafted piece that fits
the oboe perfectly and rewards the careful listener. It is wonderful to hear a
composer who has something to say and knows how to speak in the inherent
qualities of a medium, while stretching its boundaries without breaking the
