Zubin Mehta, conductor

I remember Oskar Morawetz from my earliest days as Music Director of the Montreal Symphonic and had the great pleasure in conducting several of his works. He was always very helpful at the reherasals and was a composer with a truely universal education that he has obtained in his beloved Prague and as teacher passed along to so many students.

I send him warmest wishes and embrace him wholeheartedly.
