Toronto Czech Named to Office

Appointed by the Czechoslovakian Government-in-exile as employers' delegate for that country, Richard Morawetz, 424 Rosemary Rd., has been elected to the permanent governing body of the International Labor Office, offshoot of the League of Nations, Geneva. The group is currently holding its international conference in Philadelphia.

A leading manufacturer in Prague and chairman, Syndicate of Textile Industries of Czechoslovakia, Mr. Morawetz left his native land a fortnight after the Nazi invasion and has lived in Toronto for five years. He was Czechoslovakian delegate to the W.L.O. conference in Washington in 1937 and in New York in 1942.
