Miss Ruth Shipman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Shipman of London, Ont., came in with her fiance Oscar Morawetz, son of the Richard Morawetz' and Canada's most performed composer. He is now working on a second quartet for CBC and his songs have gone round the world with such artists as Dorothy Maynor, Glen Gould and Lois Marshall. Miss Shipman a white evening frock happily rampant with navy cabbage roses, red stole and red slippers. A graduate of the Conservatory at 17, she took her BA at Western, and is a pianist.

After their marriage June 7, they will spend the summer in Alberta at the Banff School of Fine Arts.
